I can't deny it, over the years I've bought a couple of pieces of cheap, trendy furniture from Ikea, Freedom and other mass producers. But as I've grown older I've realised that it's not cheap at all, as I would tire of it and pass it on or it would simply wear out. These days I buy pieces that are more expensive initially, but they last.
