Bentwood Chairs

I was fossicking through a vintage store recently and found these bentwood chairs. They'd been put up very high, almost out of sight. They were so high up it was hard to tell the condition. Read more about my bentwood chairs here.

Cream of the Crop

The best interior designers in the world have been nominated by Elle Decor. They're the cream of the crop. I liked this creamy coloured bedroom by Jay Jeffers. See the rest of the cream of the crop here

Kitchen Ideas - Butlers Pantry

Over the Easter break I've been finalising the plans for our renovation. One of the rooms that I've been musing about is the Butlers Pantry. I like the idea of being able to see everything at once, whether that's drygoods or vases. I also like the idea of the fridge being out of the way. It just seems to take up so much space in the kitchen. See more photos of Butlers Pantries here. Butlers_Pantry_with_office_2_320x200

Conservatory Crush - Part 2

Lately I've been drawn to dining and living rooms that feel like a conservatory. At first I thought my conservatory crush was simply a symptom of Royal Wedding Fever (RWF). But now, I know it's not a fleeting crush. I'm going to design my dining room when we renovate the Queenslander as a conservatory. This one by Meg Braff is fabulous.
